![]() Belén Montero (Zamora, 1970) develops her career within the visual arts. Degree in Art History from the UAB, with studies in Art, Music and Specialist in Image and Sound Operations, she is co-founder of the company Esferobite in A Coruña, with which she will produce a multitude of musical videos, video art, documentary and experimental projects of an artistic nature, awarded, selected and exhibited internationally. Escales Documentaires (La Rochelle), Pompidou Museum (Metz) or Cineuropa (Santiago the Compostela) are some of the places where her works have been exhibited. ![]() Sonja Hofmann has a degree in Latin America regional studies. She is program curator and moderator for the Film Festival Cologne as well as the International Women’s Film Festival Dortmund | Cologne. Together with the Kino Gesellschaft Köln, she organizes the annual film series Kino Latino Köln. Since 2014, she has been supervising the »Poetry / Film« project for the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), which has so far produced 22 poetry films. She is also Project Coordinator of »1. Kölner Literaturnacht« and is head of the arts department of Matices. Magazine on Latin America, Spain & Portugal on a voluntary basis. Sonja Hofmann is a deputy member of the media commission of the Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia. |
![]() Timo Berger, born 1974 in Stuttgart, studied general and comparative literature and Latin American studies in Tübingen, Buenos Aires, and Berlin. He is working as a freelance journalist for, amongst others, the magazine Kulturaustausch. Journal for international perspectives, and as a curator and translator from Spanish and Portuguese. Together with Rike Bolte, he founded the Latin American poetry festival »Latinale« in 2006. Most recently he released as author extra muros. poemas públicos (Madrid and Bilbao, Zoográfico and LUPI 2018) and translated the novel Cryptocene by Pola Oloixarac (Wagenbach, Berlin 2016). Forthcoming: Buenos Aires. A literary invitation (Wagenbach, Berlin 2019). He was invited guest of the international poetry festival in Medellín (2017).
